Theft Investigation Results In Arrest of Amo Man

Parke County, In. – Between February 12 and February 18 2022 Parke County Deputies investigated a series of criminal incidents from the east central area of Parke County. This included the theft of an enclosed trailer taken on the 12th, a vehicle pursuit that occurred on the 1 5th resulting in the recovery of a stolen vehicle from Hendricks County, and the theft of two pickup trucks on the 16′” All these incidents took place between the Belltnore area and Raccoon Lake in Parke County.  During the investigation Parke County Deputies identified Timothy J. Warmuth, 40 of Amo, as a suspect in all these incidents. Timothy was located on February 19th in Morgan County and again fled from law enforcement in a vehicle
stolen from Parke County. Timothy was ultimately taken in to custody in Morgan County.
Parke County Deputies secured an arrest warrant on the four incidents that occurred in Parke County. It is
anticipated that Warmuth will face charges in several other counties as a result of this investigation. Warmuth is currently
being held in Morgan County and will be transferred to Parke County at a later date.
Multiple agencies provided vital assistance in this investigation these included the Clay County Sheriff’s Department,
Putnam County Sheriff’s Department, Amo Town Marshall’s Office, Danville Police Department, and Morgan County
Sheriff’s Department.
