Terre Haute, In. – The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 42-year-old Christopher Dixie for the murder of his cousin, Victor Lee. Lee’s body was discovered Sunday, in a pond near the 3300 block of Darwin Road by mushroom hunters. Investigators from the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office took Dixie into custody Tuesday night at a home on Elm and View Avenue. He is currently held at the Vigo County Jail on charges of murder and obstruction of justice. Sheriff Derek Fell stated that the killing appears to be an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the community.
