Terre Haute, In. – The Vigo County Commissioners and County Council presented the new general services building yesterday with a ribbon cutting. The building is located next to the Vigo County Jail on Honey Creek Drive. The building is a general services building and will house a maintenance shop, a dedicated garage for the sheriff’s office, document storage space, and house the county’s first-ever morgue. About half of the $1.5 million cost of the building came from ARPA funds.
