Terre Haute, In. – The Terre Haute Humane Society has a new executive director.  Heidi Mitchell became the executive director in June.  Mitchell background includes time working for Habitat for Humanity for 8 years.  The shelter is currently at maximum capacity.  Mitchell says they are doing everything possible to open more space.  The Shelter is also in the process of opening a low-cost clinic which they hope to open soon.
