Vigo County, Indiana – The Vigo County Parks and Recreation Department is hitting the road for its first-ever Earth Day Park Bus Tour on Saturday, April 25. Departing from Hawthorn Park at noon, the four-hour guided journey will take residents through Fowler Park, Prairie Creek Park, and the Dewey Point Overlook. Former superintendent and local historian Keith Ruble will lead the tour, sharing unique stories about the heritage of the county’s public lands.
