VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind – Vermillion County Deputies and the Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating a structure fire that happened Friday (6/26/20) in an unoccupied residence on Reed Street in St. Bernice.

The residence is a total loss.

Sheriff Mike Phelps says that a juvenile is being questioned and the investigation is ongoing. 

Helt Township fire was assisted at the scene by Black Diamond Fire and Illiana EMS.
