SPRINGFIELD, Ill – The Illinois Department of Public Health Monday announced 1,006 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including 33 additional deaths.

Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 12,262 cases and 307 deaths, in 73 counties.

The age of cases ranges from younger than one to older than 100 years.
