Court Date Set For Woman Who Allegedly Stole Ambulance

TERRE HAUTE, Ind – A court date is set for a Terre Haute woman accused of stealing an ambulance.

25-year-old Caitlin Goings will appear in court April 15 on charges of auto theft.

Police say that just before 11:00 p.m. on March 23 she stole a Trans Care ambulance that was parked at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

The ambulance was recovered in Knox county after police used stop sticks during the pursuit.

At the end of the chase, Goings was taken to a Knox county hospital to be treated for a self-inflicted wound to her wrist.

The ambulance sustained several thousand dollars in damage.
