VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind – This afternoon (Tuesday 11/26/19) Vermillion County Deputies report that they were searching for an armed and wanted person in the area south of the Saint Bernice area.

It happened close to the time that the South Vermillion schools would be releasing students from the schools and then buses would be dropping them off in that area.

Sheriff Mike Phelps reports that they asked for the schools to lock down and not allow the students to be delivered until they found the individual.
