SULLIVAN,Ind – Just before 9 a.m. Wednesday, a semi tractor trailer loaded with plastic pallets, bound for Terre Haute, rolled over at northbound US 41 and Washington St. just west of Sullivan.

The driver, Nathaniel Hill of Clarksville, Tennessee, told police that he had reached down to pick up an article from the floorboard, when his vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway.  Hill attempted to steer back onto the roadway, however the weight transferred, causing the semi tractor-trailer to overturn on its right side.

Both northbound lanes of US 41 were closed for approximately two hours and traffic had to be diverted through town.
