This Is Why We Support Our Police

SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind – An Indiana State Police Trooper offered a helping hand instead of a ticket this week when he stopped a car for speeding.

Wednesday morning Indiana State Police Senior Trooper Brent Robinson stopped a vehicle on US 41 near Carlisle for a speeding violation.

The Trooper found the occupants of the car were 4 females and 2 children including an infant.

The adults were holding the infant and not using a car seat that was in the trunk, because of overcrowding.

Trooper Robinson took the car seat from the trunk, installed it, and placed the infant securely in the seat.

He then drove the one remaining female to a location near Princeton in Gibson County to meet up with other family members, so they all could continue their trip to Georgia.

No tickets were issued.
