TERRE HAUTE, Ind – Terre Haute Police have arrested a man in connection to a shooting in the city last Friday.

Police say that 47-year-old Anthony Williams got into a physical altercation with the victim and began beating him with a pistol. The pistol discharged during the altercation, shooting the victim in the face and was found on 6 ½ street near the Landsbaum Center.

Williams has been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a violent felon, battery with a deadly weapon, battery resulting in bodily injury, and criminal recklessness while armed with a deadly weapon.
