The Shoe Bus has been in operation in Vigo County since 1972. Each week, the Terre Haute Women’s Club visits schools, giving about 1200 pairs of new shoes and 2400 pairs of new socks annually to students in need. In April each year, we have our only Shoe Bus Fundraiser, “An Evening of Art and Wine”.  It is a fun event where select local high school students and ten area and national artists exhibit and sell their work in various media.  There will be four different kinds of wine to sample and a large array of delicious hors d’ oeuvres to enjoy along with a great raffle and a silent auction. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, April 21 from 7:30-10:30PM at the Hulman Center.
