BLOOMINGTON – Abbey Hepner was walking when she found something shiny on the ground.

She identified it as a memory ring made to contain the ashes of a loved one.

Now, she is trying to return it.

“I’d really like to find the owner and return it because I know it’s something that can’t be replace,” she wrote on Facebook. “It’s a silver ring with “D.W. June 25th, 2016” engraved on the front of it. If everyone in Bloomington, IN could please share so we could find the owner I’m sure they would be really grateful for it. Thank you!!”
