GREENE COUNTY, Ind. — A second guard at the Greene County Jail has been arrested in connection to an incident involving sexual encounters with an inmate.
Police have arrested David LaPray for his involvement in the incident, where another guard, Chad Ray, was having sexual relationships with a female inmate, Kayla Sims.
Indiana State Police say a lie detector test revealed LaPray was not telling the truth when he told them he didn’t known about the incident. LaPray then admitted he knew about the sexual relationship between Ray and Sims, and allowed it to happen again.
LaPray was charged with Aiding in Sexual Misconduct, a Class 5 felony.
Ray is still facing a charge of sexual misconduct.
