BRAZIL, Ind – Thursday afternoon Brazil Police, the Clay County Sheriff’s Department and other first responders were called to Eddie’s Sandwich Shop at 18 South Walnut St. in Brazil when a car crashed into the building.

Police say that the female driver was semi-conscious when they arrived on scene but her condition was not clear. Her identity has not yet been released.

Several customers and employees were in the building at the time and three people suffered minor injuries.

The building suffered extensive damage.

Police are continuing to investigate.
