Terre Haute, In. – Residents of Terre Haute, get ready to clear the clutter this Saturday for the annual Spring Citywide Cleanup. From 8:00 a.m. until noon, you can drop off bulky items like furniture and mattresses at three free locations: the Street Department Garage, the Solid Waste Management site, and the old Police Department parking lot. The Street Department site on Deming Street is the only location accepting electronics and tires, while hazardous materials like paint and chemicals are prohibited citywide. Remember to bring proof of residency and arrive early, as the service is first-come, first-served until the dumpsters are full.
