Terre Haute, In. – In a major shift for the local media landscape, the Terre Haute Tribune-Star is moving its printing operations out of the city. Starting April 7, 2026, the newspaper will be printed at the Greenfield Daily Reporter facility in Hancock County. Management cited the high cost of modernizing its own equipment as the primary reason for outsourcing the work. While the move will result in “limited layoffs” within the local production department, the Tribune-Star confirms its newsroom, advertising, and business offices will remain in Terre Haute. Delivery schedules for subscribers are expected to remain unchanged despite the new printing location over 80 miles away.
