Terre Haute, In. – A Terre Haute woman is facing prison time after admitting to her role in a violent motel heist. Elizabeth Adkins has signed a plea deal for an October 2025 armed robbery at the Roadway Inn on 3rd Street. Investigators say Adkins was caught on camera holding the firearm used to injure a victim during the robbery. She now faces charges of conspiracy to commit robbery and aiding in armed robbery, while her four co-defendants still await jury trials. Adkins is scheduled for a formal change of plea hearing on April 6th.
