VIGO COUNTY, Ind. — Plans to reshape the Us 41 corridor through Vigo County are moving forward as INDOT provides a fresh update on the ProPEL US 41 initiative. State transportation officials recently met with local leaders to review public feedback aimed at improving safety and traffic flow along the corridor. The study is currently evaluating “reasonable alternatives” for the highway, with a focus on reducing crashes and enhancing pedestrian access. Project organizers at say the goal is to create a long-term vision that balances regional commuting needs with local business access.
