Montgomery County, In. – In a release from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports that two people were killed in a crash Monday afternoon on US Highway 231. They were identified as 26-year-old Masey Ward, a Brazil resident, and 38-year-old Rogelio Diaz Gomez, a Greencastle resident. Officials say that a truck struck a car and knocked into the path of another car. An unidentified man had to extricated from one of the vehicles. He flown to the hospital in Indianapolis with serious injuries. The driver of the truck that caused the accident was arrested charged with two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, causing death, along with two counts of criminal recklessness.
