Terre Haute, In. – The Vigo County Commissioners have awarded former four term Terre Haute Mayor Duke Bennett with the prestigious Francis Vigo award. The commissioners said the award was given to Bennett for his dedication and commitment to the Terre Haute Community. A statement from the Vigo County Commissioners say’s “Duke’s commitment to Vigo County has never wavered. His steady leadership, generosity of time, and genuine care for people exemplify the spirit of this award.”
