Terre Haute, In. – In April 2024 Dustin Roecker drove a stolen pick up truck into Ron May, on May’s driveway leaving him with 2 broken legs. Even with his injuries May was able to fire two shots at Roecker wounding him. Roecker jumped out of the truck and ran. He was naked at the time. He stole another truck and led Indiana State Police on a chase that ended in Sullivan County. Roeker was in court this week and pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted murder and a count of battery by means of a deadly weapon. As a part of the plea agreement he will receive a 20 year sentence followed by 5 years of work release. He will be sentenced on December 22nd.
