Terre Haute, In. – Shane Meehan is the man accused of murdering Terre Haute Police Detective Greg Ferency in July 2021. Ferency was not only a Terre Haute Police officer but also a Federal Agent. Meehan shot Ferency outside the Terre Haute FBI office. He is charged with premeditated murder of a federal officer. The US attorney’s office has notified Meehan’s Legal team that they are seeking the Death Penalty. Both Legal taems have a phone conference scheduled for today.
