Terre Haute, In. On Friday the Vigo County School board approved a new 2 year contract with the Vigo County Teachers Association. The contract gives a $2,000 pay increase over two years. Qualifying “lost generation” teachers would receive $4,500. “Lost generation” are teachers whose pay has languished due to changes made by the state legislature in 2011. The VCTA members ratified the contract on November 4th and the school board held a public hearing on November 7th.
