Vigo County, In. – Sunday evening Indiana Republican Senator Greg Goode was the victim of a Swatting Scam. The Vigo County Sheriff says that police were sent an email informing them that harm had been done to people inside of a home in southeastern Vigo County. When Deputies went to the home they found it belonged to Senator Goode. They made contact with the occupants and found everything and everyone was safe and secure. This incident came shortly after President Donald Trump criticized the senator and Indiana Governor Braun on social media concerning congressional redistricting. In a statement Senator Goode said, “While this entire incident is unfortunate and reflective of the volatile nature of our current political environment, I give thanks to God that my family and I are ok.” Sheriff Derek Fell says the Vigo County Sheriff’s and federal authorities will investigate the incident to find who is responsible.”
