Terre Haute, In. – Terre Haute Police Officers were called to a residence in the 800 block of North 8th Street Friday evening to check a report of a shooting. The Terre Haute Police say one person was shot and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. They say the shooting an isolated event and had no connection to the homecoming activities in town. No names have been released and the investigation is continuing.
