Terre Haute, In. – On Monday 39-year-old Nichola Leroy was in court to accept a plea agreement in her case where she was charged with murdering her cousin. Leroy accepted a plea agreement and changed her plea to guilty on the second count of aggravated battery and the main count of murder was dropped. Leroy was arrested in 2023 after police found her cousin, Wasu Laplant in a pool of blood. Leroy was the one that called 911 and stayed with him until police arrived. Leroy told police she stabbed him in the chest after he came at her.
