Terre Haute, In. – In a press conference Tuesday Terre Haute Mayor Brandon Sakbun and the Terre Haute Police Department announced the expansion of what they call Proactive Policing. The mayor says this initiative has been in place in the downtown area for sometime and has seen a lowering petty crime in the area. Now the Proactive Policing initiative is being expanded to other parts of the city.
