Vigo County, In. – After a two year old Body Cam Video recently surfaced on Social Media Vigo County Sheriff Derek Fell posted a release saying that he was aware of the video but had not heard what was said on it until this week. In the video you hear someone tell the Deputy A person using drugs had died but was brought back to life by medical intervention. The Deputy replied “Why did they bring them back? Let them all (expletive) die. … I would let you die.” Fell did not release the name of the Deputy but did say that he has been placed on administrative leave and his actions will be reviewed. Fell went on to say, “I do not condone in any way the insensitive remarks I heard in the recording. I expect everyone who wears a badge and takes an oath to serve our citizens with professionalism and respect.” He also said in his statement, “The words spoken at an arrest scene and recorded on a body camera two

years ago are shocking and will not be accepted.”
