Green County, In. – In July of this year Joshua Penick waived his rights, including his right to counsel, and pleaded guilty to murdering Samantha Jerrell and their son in October of 24 and burying their bodies at the Bear Run Mine in Sullivan County. Under the negotiated plea agreement, Monday a judge sentenced Jerrell to 60 years for each murder totaling 120 years in prison.
