Terre Haute, In. – The public is invited to a meeting September 30th, 5 to 7pm, at Terre Haute South High School hosted by The Indiana Department of Transportation. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the future of US 41 from southern Vigo County through Terre Haute to the northern part of the county for the next 20 years. The forum will discuss ways to modernize this corridor and improve the region’s overall mobility, equity, economic opportunity, and quality of life. Attendees will be allowed to provide feed back view displays and talk to representatives. INDOT says this will be a unique opportunity for Terre Haute residents to envision the future of the urban highway through the city. A livestream of the presentation will be available on the INDOT website. Click here to watch the presentation when it’s available.
