Terre Haute, In. – In front of a huge crown at a Meeting Wednesday the Terre Haute City Council’s five-member Planning, Zoning and Improvements Committee voted to recommend that the City Council withdraw an an ordinance that would rewrite the City Code to create a Historic Preservation Districts commission. Many residents offered their opinions of the ordinance which were nearly evenly split with a slight majority being against the commission.
