Montezuma, In. – Saturday Parke County Deputies were called to a residence in Montezuma on a report of a man threatening another with a firearm. As they were taking statements from the witnesses the suspect arrived in a pickup truck. The deputies advised the witnesses to get down while they approached the suspects vehicle ordering the occupants out. A search of the vehicle turned up the gun on one of the occupants. 56-year-old Michael Powell of Terre Haute was arrested and taken to jail. Powell is being held on a $15,000 bond with no 10 percent allowed. The Rockville Police Department assisted.
