Terre Haute, In- Saturday morning the Terre Haute Fire Department was dispatched to a fire in the 1900 block of 3rd avenue on the report of a structure fire. When they arrived they encountered heavy smoke coming from the rear of the residence. Two people in the home were taken to the hospital for treatment of burns. Two dogs died in the fire. Another dog survived and was taken tot he shelter. The fire department says the home may be a total loss.
