Vigo County, In. – The Vigo County Sheriff’s Department closed down the northbound lane of US 41 in the Allendale area yesterday afternoon due to a motor vehicle crash. The Sheriff Department confirmed that there was a fatality. The northbound lanes were opened after the accident reconstruction team finished their investigation and the accident was cleaned up.
