Southern Vigo County – A request has been made to the Vigo County Plan Commission to rezone property in the 6600 block of Carlisle Street for a strip mall which will include a Duncan Donuts. This location is near the Speeedway convenience Store and Honey Creek middle School.The property is currently zoned R-1, singl family residential. Rezoning to C-3, regional commercial had been requested. The Area Plan Commission will hear the rezoning request at its July 2 meeting. The rezoning would have to be approved by Vigo County Commissioners.
