Terre Haute, In. – Just after 4pm Tuesday and armed robbery took place at Kroc’s Butcher Shop at 2626 South 7th Street in Terre Haute. Police say a juvenile entered the shop, displayed a handgun and demanded money. Witnesses were able to describe the suspect which helped the officers quickly locate the suspect. The suspect had discarded the handgun by the time officers caught up to him. THPD K9 Pito searched the area and found the gun which was later determined to be stolen. The investigation continues and police say they’ll have more details soon.
