Parke County, In. – An unidentified nurse was in the right place at the right time Tuesday when a 10 year girls grandfather found the girl in the unresponsive in the water at a beach at Raccoon Lake in Parke County. Conservation officers received a call about the child being in trouble at the beach. When they arrived they found that the nurse had administered aid and the girl regained consciousness. Parke County EMS and Bellmore Fire Department arrived and gave her oxygen and the child was alert and answered questions. She was LifeLined to an Indianapolis Hospital.
