Terre Haute, In. – In coordination with the Office of the Indiana Attorney General and the Indiana Department of Health the Terre Haute police Department is investigating the death of 93-year-old Betty Ellinger. Ellinger died at Union Hospitals Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care. She had been injured on the morning of April 21 at Signature Health Care at 3500 Maple Ave. in Terre Haute. The investigation is centered around the circumstances surrounding the incident in which she was injured. The Vigo County Coroners Office had conducted an autopsy but the actual cause of death has not been released.
