Staunton, In. The Posey Township Fire Dept. Is mourning the loss of Firefighter/EMT Roy Smith.  Around 2am Saturday morning Smith was responding to a motor vehicle accident when his vehicle hydroplaned on the rain-soaked road and hit a tree.  Smith had served as a firefighter for 34 years.  He is survived by his wife and two adult sons who are also firefighters.
