Terre Haute, In. – Thomas Jamerson, 40, of Terre Haute pleaded guilty to federal drug and firearm charges. Jamerson was arrested last August after an investigation by detectives with the Vigo County Drug Task Force led them to a residence at South 19th Street and Poplar Street. The task force seized more than 60 grams of methamphetamine and several firearms. Jamerson was on parole for a 2018 meth dealing case, police said at the time. He ultimately was indicted in federal court. After pleading guilty on Jan. 29, a Federal Judge sentenced Jamerson to 12 years in prison with a recommendation that he be placed where he can receive drug treatment and other rehabilitative programs.
