West Central Indiana – The Wabash River Regional Development Authority has secured a $5 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to boost housing across West Central Indiana. Announced during Friday’s board meeting, the funds will support the Homes for the Future initiative, targeting the removal of neighborhood blight and the remediation of brownfield sites. Administered through the state’s READI program, this investment aims to de-risk new construction and expand quality housing options across Clay, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion, and Vigo counties.
