Terre Haute, In. – City officials and Gibson Development confirmed Wednesday that Target is officially coming to the city’s east side. The new retail giant will anchor Lost Creek Landing a major development along the State Road 46 corridor, located near New Margaret Drive just north of Walmart. Mayor Brandon Sakbun praised the multi-year effort to land the big-box retailer. Developer Greg Gibson noted that the site will feature six frontage outlots and additional retail spaces, positioning the east side as a premier regional hub for shopping and services. A specific opening date has not yet been announced, bulldozers are already on-site, and groundwork for the project is expected to begin immediately.
