Wabash Valley – If you’re a student in the Terre Haute area looking to break into medicine, Horizon Health just launched several new financial aid opportunities aimed at keeping local talent close to home. There are six different scholarship available including the Dr. Leland Phipps Memorial Scholarship, which awards up to one thousand dollars to current employees, and two full-ride scholarships for the upcoming EMT-Basic certification course. The Department of Nursing is offering two five-hundred-dollar awards for those already enrolled in or accepted into a program. Applications must be submitted by April 1st.
