Shelburn, Indiana – A Shelburn man is behind bars today following a months-long investigation into the sexual abuse of a minor. Fifty-seven-year-old William Harvey was arrested Tuesday afternoon without incident. According to the Indiana State Police, the investigation began in October 2025 after detectives received information that a juvenile female had been sexually abused. The Sullivan County Sullivan Circuit Court issued an arrest warrant Tuesday morning and Harvey was arrested. Harvey now faces 2 counts of Child Molesting, Rape and Sexual Misconduct with a Minor.
