Vigo County, In. – Local leaders are pushing forward with a regional growth pact. The Wabash River Regional Development Authority is aligning with Clay, Parke, and Sullivan counties to market the region as a unified front for economic development. Despite receiving a smaller-than-requested $10 million in READI 2.0 funding, the partnership is focused on expanding walking trails and shared entrepreneur spaces. READI 2.0 is a $500 million state-funded program to spur population growth, enhance quality of place, and boost economic development.
