Farmersburg, In. – Several fire departments fought a fire in a house in Farmersburg Saturday. The call came in around 7pm Saturday. Fire crews say it appears the fire began in the kitchen area. There were two people in the home at the time of the fire a father and son. Both escaped without injury. The Salvation Army is assisting with housing for the family. The Thunderbird, Shelburn, Prairieton and Sullivan fire departments fought the fire.
