West Terre Haute, In. – On December 2nd the Sugar Creek Fire Department discovered a body inside a house that was burning on West Harris Drive just West of West Terre Haute. The Coroners Office has identified the body as 44-year-old Matthew Walden, of West Terre Haute. The Coroner says the cause of death was thermal injury with smoke inhalation and carbon monoxide toxicity. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Sugar Creek Fie Department.
