Terre Haute, In. – We told you earlier this week that the Federal the Prosecutor announced he plans to seek the death penalty for Shane Meehan who is charged with the Murder of Terre Haute Police Detective and Federal Officer Greg Ferency. The attorneys had a phone hearing on Wednesday. Meehan’s defense said they were shocked the Federal Prosecutor was seeking the death penalty since they has said earlier they would not due to Meehan’s mental competency.
